A client books your basic 100€ package, enters the gallery and selects 25 images instead of the 10 included.

Without Package Upgrades:

  • Pays: 100€ base + 75€ extras = 175€

With Package Upgrades:

  • Sees Premium option (200€) with 25 photos included + album
  • Switches to Premium
  • Pays: 200€ (saves 25€ on extras and gains an album)

This is the Package Upgrades system.

How to Create Package Upgrades

Step 1: Enable Upgrades

Go to Settings → Packages and Products:

  1. Edit an existing package (or create a new one)
  2. Enable the "Allow upgrades" switch
  3. Your base package is displayed in read-only mode

Step 2: Add Levels

Click "Add Level" and fill in:

Level Information:

  • Name: "Wedding Plus"
  • Price: 1,300€
  • Included photos: 300 photos

Included Products:

  • Select products from your catalog
  • Example: 1 Album 30x30, 1 Custom USB

Gallery Description: Text that the client will see explaining the benefits of this level.

You can create up to 3 additional levels besides the base.

How the Client Sees It on Booking

When the client accesses your booking calendar, they see all options before booking:

STANDARD WEDDING - 1,000€

  • 200 photos included
  • Online gallery
  • 8 hours coverage

WEDDING PLUS - 1,300€ ⭐ MOST POPULAR

  • 300 photos included
  • Online gallery
  • 8 hours coverage
  • 1 Album 30x30 included
  • 1 Custom USB

PREMIUM WEDDING - 1,600€

  • 400 photos included
  • Everything from Plus
  • Album 40x40 (larger)

The client compares, chooses their preference and confirms.

Create Session with Selected Level

Note: This functionality to create a session directly from the appointment is not yet available, but will be soon.

Currently:

  1. Client books and selects their level
  2. You see which level they chose in the appointments panel
  3. When manually creating the session, you select the corresponding level

Upgrades Selector in Gallery

The client always sees a selector of available levels in the gallery:

Your current package: Plus

Available levels:

  • Plus (current)
  • Premium

Features:

  • Client can see levels higher than the one they booked
  • CANNOT downgrade to a lower level (protects your minimum price)
  • Clearly sees what each level includes
  • Can change whenever they want before finalizing

The system shows available upgrades above the level the client originally selected. It's simple: if they booked Plus, they can change to Premium. If they booked Base, they can see Plus and Premium.

  • Premium: 220€ - 25 photos + Album 30x30 + Frame
